Vegetable tortilla at a restaurant called El Chinitas in Malaga.
Wowza! Amazing food plates, but I'd have to pass on the Bacalao! What exactly is in carapulca? Nancy
ReplyDeletebeautiful presentations (even though i am a vegetarian myself)! would love to hear about more about herbal hubby's rice and like nancy i wonder what carapulca is? big hugs :)
ReplyDeleteIt has chicken, pork, peanuts, sherry and the secret ingredient is dried potato. Papa seca is little pieces of dried potato. Literally they are dried on a dirt floor and sometimes you find pieces of stone in the mix! I will give you the recipe. Give me a couple of days. I tried the Bacalao, but it wasn't a favorite of mine either. The Herbal Husband's rice has garlic in it and he tops it with peas or peppers. It just has more taste than Uncle Ben's Minute Rice! Thanks for your comments!
ReplyDeletei guess you have to eat anything with papa seca carefully so you don't break a tooth!lol what fun it has been hearing about these foreign places nancy! thanks for sharing. herbal hubby's rice sounds like how i make mine sometimes. hugs:)
ReplyDeleteThey have some dental issues there!
