Blooming Sage in the Herb Garden!

Salvia officinalis 'Nazareth' and Saliva officinalis 'Compacta' are mixed in this bed.  As I blogged earlier, the 'Nazareth' sages have gone mostly green in the second year.  Not quite what I was looking for.  I wanted that silver color and it has disappeared.  They are both happily blooming in the herb garden!  It has gone a little crazy, don't you think?  Hope you have a great weekend!  Talk to you later.

  1. I am jealous, some of my herbs aren't blooming yet. I do have an over 3' high fever few plant that is just opening up though.

  2. My feverfews are just opening as well, Peggy. It is a beautiful time of the year.

Thanks TG! I love these sages and never knew they bloomed as much. They must be happy!

  3. Alas, prairie sage is about done -- but I did manage to get a few blossoms to use as garnish inside! Visit Linderhof and see the wonderful lemon sage cutlets that have both leaves AND blossoms!
