My Wild Green Front Garden!
Sometimes you never realize what your front yard looks like until you take a picture of it! Ours is not the typical yard at the very least. Even though the February snow got a lot of branches, the front is still a wild thing! We have phlox, anemones, daylilies and bee balm and it will all be blooming shortly! So enjoy the calm of the green now because soon it will be out of control with color! Going to be a hot day with strong storms later! Yikes! Hope no more sewer sludge! Although I slept through the cleanup! That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Too many exclamation points, once again! As you can see the Christmas/Valentines All Season wreath is still on the door! I did change that since this photo was taken to the sunhat that needs new dried flowers and a glue gun revision! Maybe more on that at a later date! Got to go help the plants get ready for more rain. The Herbal Husband likes his sticks and strings when it comes to plants! Have a great day. Talk to you later!
What a front yard! I love it. The last house we lived in was sort of like that. Now everything is still small and that's how my husband likes it. Blessings, Kay
ReplyDeletep.s. I can't wait to hear how your meeting with Sharon Lovejoy goes. She is my favorite garden writer. Let us all know.
I love the yard. My sweetie said I could do that with our front yard. I decided I had enough to do with backyard - especially when summer hits sometime in March.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kay and TG, It is work to get it looking like this! Ha! Ha! Maybe now you are getting a new place, TG, you can have a crazy front yard! Kay, I have to pinch myself that I'm meeting Sharon in just two weeks. I can't believe I actually correspond with her. She really is a treasure. I definitely will let you know how it goes! Thanks as always ladies for your comments.
ReplyDeleteoh I swear (I don't usually)your posts are reminding me so much of Tasha Tudor's home! Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love your front garden - we have a very similar look and I agree with Wendy above that it reminds one of Tasha's home. It really has that English cottage flavor that is so natural and just says - A Gardener Lives Here & please come visit for a spell!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.
Wow, Wendy that is so nice of you to say. I won't tell that you swore! Thanks taylorsoutback for your kind words. Some days I think we are crazy with all of the foliage and then we have flowers blooming almost all of the summer. So I guess something is working. Thanks ladies for stopping by!
