A Visit to Exeter, England!

My English Herbal Companion and I moved on to Exeter from the outskirts of Bristol.   From top to bottom, the Cathedral at Exeter under restoration.  Violette's, a shop on Castle Street with herbal touches, the ruins of Rougemont Castle and the monument at Northernhay Gardens, I think!  Exeter is a wonderful city along the river Exe.  I will share more photos later.  I'm not going to press my luck.  I think downloading is working again.  Talk to you later!

  3. Hello Nancy... you sure have been busy since I last stopped in! WOW!! I'm feeling mighty sheepish about my tired ol' blog right now! It's been fun playing catch up with yours! I was cleaning my room yesterday and came across my Herb Companion and there you were! It's such a coincidence that you happened by my blog today! It's SO GOOD to hear from you again! xox ~Laura

  5. Oh boy! Was hoping you would be putting up more English photos!! I am just soaking in all the images...the sweet little shop, the ancient cathedral walls - if they could talk what stories we would hear.
Looking forward to the next installment!
We are home now and don't know where to start...lots of parsley & the sages have held up well. There have been frosty nights so other things are looking "end of season..."
    Have a good weekend.
