A English Breakfast for the Prince and Princess!

Well, unlike a lot of America this morning I was asleep for the live wedding.  I did get up in time for a replay and that is all that I wanted just the highlights!  Had to have an English muffin with some pineapple sage jelly and rose petal tea in my Portmeirion Botanic Garden mug.  The egg is not quite like the English eggs, but Egg Beaters with a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese cut up in it in the microwave for a 1 minute 45 seconds.  Perfect.  So I wish their Highnesses all the best.  Hope you are having a good day.  May we keep all of the people in the south in our thoughts and prayers.

  1. Also slept through the live event but celebrated with a cherry almond scone at breakfast while watching the "highlights rerun"

What a lovely example of simple elegant taste for the ceremony. Not overdone & The Dress is classic - just beautiful!

Oh - How was The Conspirator??

    Have a great weekend.

  2. Gosh, we are so much alike, TO. That cherry almond scone sounds fab! Yes, it was very elegant and classic. The Conspirator was excellent. The Herbal Husband and I both liked it a lot! You have a great weekend as well.

  3. Wish I had been there to breakfast with you, instead, we slathered your lovely jelly onto some thick slices of bread. DIVINE.

  4. P.S. We just saw the Conspirator and really liked it. Just felt emptied at the end. Wonderful job.

  5. Thick slices of bread work really well, Sharon and I would have enjoyed having you and Jeff always! The ending was a bit bleak, but it was really well done. Thanks as always dear Sharon for stopping by. xxoo Nancy

  6. Looks very delicious and it was a wonderful day filled with romance. Do you have your pineapple sage jelly posted on here somewhere? I really would like to give that one a go this summer as well as with some pineapple mint. xxooxx

  7. I planted a pineapple sage plant and thought of you. I wished I had thought of a scone for breakfast this morning with a fairy tale wedding and a bit of jam.

  8. Hi Pammy,

I put a link in my post and it will take you to a January 2010 post with three different jellies for you. Hope you like it.

Hi TG, Too early to plant a pineapple sage outside. The one we had inside died. The Herbal Husband tries and tries and I think we have had one survive through just one winter and it wasn't this past one.:(

Thanks you two for stopping by!
