The Calm Before the Storm!

Wanted to show that the 'Burgh does get sunny days even in the snow and cold!  We're expecting a storm tonight that may bring us ice which we don't get too often.  Hope we don't lose our power.  Hope you are staying warm or cool wherever you may be.  Talk to you later.  I'm going to steal a quote from Claude Monet for the daily quote, but make it my own.

This is Claude's quote:  More than anything, I must have flowers, always, always.
This is my take on Monet's quote:  More than anything, I must have herbs, always, always.

Talk to you later.

  1. We are getting ready for the big storm here in the Midwest too. We already have the "ice" started and they are saying we can get up to 24 inches of snow on top of it with high winds. I'm all snuggled in and not planning to leave until it all blows over!

  6. It looks like we are all under the same big icy blanket. The rain is supposed to start after midnight with sleet and ice by morning. Now the weather man says definitely snow. It is going to be a cold week leading up to Super Bowl. (I'm watching on tv.)

BTW, the Steelers arrived here this morning. FW is all dressed up for our guests. http://texastufa.blogspot.com/2011/01/flying-new-colors.html

    Stay warm.

  9. That big storm is supposed to track just south of us...but we have been getting snow everyday...more snow, more quilting, more seed orders...I have forgotten what grass looks like.

Looks like all our guys have arrived in Dallas...are you ready to take the gloves off???? LOL
I do think it will be a good game & both teams have such a strong fan base.
Stay warm and snug and hoping you don't get that dreaded ice.

Well, your positive thoughts worked TO! No ice. Yes, the guys are all in Dallas and it's colder there than here! Ha! It will be a great game!

Yes, dear Sharon, it was a great toss up!
