Giddy With Excitement, Herbally Speaking!

It is only NINE days until Spring.  We had some rain last night that has washed away some more of the snow in the herb garden.  So excited to see what has come through one of our coldest winters on record.  It was not the snowiest by a lot of inches.  I think we had 50 or so.  We have had over 80 inches in some years.

Can't wait to get out and start pruning herb plants and getting them into shape.  I'm going to place two herb mail orders, one with Richters in Canada and one with Well Sweep in New Jersey and fill in with herbs from here and Ohio.  I have a container class to get ready for in May.  Hopefully all of the herbs that have been inside will be OK until I do that talk at the end of May.  My prostrate rosemary is blooming again.  I guess the western exposure has done well for the rosemarys this year.  Can you tell I'm giddy with excitement, herbally speaking.

Hopefully, the weather has turned to spring like conditions wherever you may be.  Birds are singing here and it is really good to finally see the ground and not be worried about any more snowfall!  Hope you are having a great day.  Talk to you soon.
