It Has Survived, Herbally Speaking!

Just wanted you to know that my 'linear leaf' thyme has survived.  It needs some trimming, but it looks like it survived the ice and snow!  Another yippee moment, herbally speaking!  Very warm here!  60's.  Going back downhill over the weekend!  Took a walk outdoors for the first time in a very long time.  Hope you are having a wonderful day wherever you may be.  A quote from Don't Throw in the Trowel by Texas Bix Bender:

In comparison sometimes a garden can make the one you love seem almost easy to please.

Talk to you later.

HURRAY!!!!! So glad the thyme made it. After looking at mine today I'm not so sure it did but I'll give it a while before I give up. I have been cleaning out flower beds this afternoon. Things I didn't get done in the fall.

You are a busy bee, Carol! Some times I am quick to say it is gone and it is just taking its thyme! Sorry just had to do it! I've just been looking at what is back. Not getting too clean yet! Thanks for coming by!

Yea I'm glad it survived! We're in the 50s and a good portion of the snow is gone. We are to get back to "normal" on Sunday.

Yes, so are we, Peggy! Thanks for stopping by!

Yay! I am so glad it made it. I actually saw a tiny mint leaf peek through the soil this morning. I was doing the happy dance.

Yay, Mina! Happy to see that little mint leaf!

Some of our herbs seem to be a little tougher than expected. I was very concerned about several things when the snow and ice hit my southeast texas garden. Everything seems to be snapping back. I think I lost more during the long drought this past fall. Nothing says love like more compost =)

Compost is always a good thing, Pammy! Thanks for the reminder and for coming by!
