A New Herb Group Near Derby, England
This was the river outside our bed & breakfast in Shardlow, Derbyshire, England in 2009. That was a wonderful trip. Now my blogging friend, Debs Cook is trying to form an herb group in her area of Sinfin, Derby, England. She already has a programme schedule for the year. It's a nominal fee of 3.50 pounds for refreshments and guest speaker charges. Here is the link for her post New Herb Group in Derby for 2012. She'll be posting about the group's activities so we can all learn something new about herbs even if you aren't down the lane from her house.

A little closer to home for me, but still at the other end of England! Her blog looks very interesting though, so I am following. I will tell her I found her through you.
Thank you for the info...wishing I was staying a sweet little B & B just down the lane...still dreaming!
Stay warm.
I'm headed to England next October and am really excited already about the trip. I'm also adding lemon verbena to my garden this summer. I hope it grows to be as beautiful as yours! :o)
Hi Tracey, Thanks for following my friend, Debs in Derby. You look like you live in a beautiful place as well.
Hi TO, It is warm here. Very strange not typical January weather.
Hi CM, Thanks for stopping by. I can fill you in with England if you would like places to go. I'm hoping to more organized with my labels so stay tuned!
Thanks ladies for stopping by!
Thanks for the link Nancy! What a lovely looking place!! ~ Pammy
It is a beautiful area. Thanks for stopping by Pammy.
Thank you for following me. I started a very modest herb garden last year, which did very well, so I plan to expand this year. I can't wait to get out there!
We could almost work in our garden this week. It is going to be very mild for us. Almost 10 degrees for you!
Lucky you Nancy :) I'm pondering the merits of donning wellies and winter woolies and going to try and get some sorting and maybe seed sowing done in the greenhouse. Shardlow is just down the road from us, next time you come to Derby you can come visit me :) Thanks for posting about my new group! xxx
Tracey - we may be at opposite ends of the UK but with the internet we're minutes away. I do travel about a lot in the herbal months (march - october) visiting different herb gardens/events so our herbal paths may cross at some point :)
Well, snow is on the way, Debs! I will definitely come visit next time I'm in Derby! xxoo Nancy
