Happy Thanksgiving and Guest Blogging for The Herb Companion Magazine!

This is the back of a box of cranberries from a few years ago!  I remember having the cranberry sauce from the can with all the ridges for years.  Then my mother came up with this cranberry orange relish from the 10-Minute Cranberry Sauce recipe on the back of the box and I have added an herbal twist.  So that's my story this time for The Herb Companion magazine called  Make Cranberry Orange Sauce with An Herbal Twist.  Hope you enjoy it!

I just want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!  The Herbal Husband and I are thankful for our families, friends and you, our faithful readers!  Hope you have a wonderful day wherever you may be!  Talk to you later.

Hello Nancy... I'm finally getting back to you, I'm DONE cooking for the day! Happy Thanksgiving blessings to you and yours. This recipe sounds intrigueing. I used to make Cranberry Orange Relish for years. I had a wonderful recipe, but I misplaced it, and haven't found anything similar since. My friend made something similar last year, but didn't use a recipe. I'll have to give this a try. It's just so neat to see you in the Herb Companion!

Rosemary, what a good idea. It's a warming flavor that goes well with the tartness of the other 2 ingredients. Good idea!

Thanks, Jim! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Ok, I like this. Good idea dear Nancy. I'll give it a try. Oh, and I think that the picture is from more than "a few years ago." It looks old.

NO sunshine in Pittsburgh? Yikes. You don't need heat, you DO need sunshine for solar cooking. Thanks for your comment on the recent posting.

Sending love,

Hi Sharon,

It is more than a "few years" ago. I have old archives! I remember her making it for many holidays. Jeff just e-mailed that you don't need sunshine so I may consider it some day! Sending love back to you both, Nancy
