It's All About Sunflowers and Fireworks!

The Goldenrod Known as 'Fireworks'!
It is all about sunflowers and the goldenrod called 'Fireworks' this time of year!  It has become crunch time early in the garden.  It is supposed to be in the low 40's tonight!  Yikes!  The basils won't like that!  So I've been trying to get it cut and processed it.  Never an herbally dull moment especially this time of year.  I'll talk to you later.

This is a happy, golden post. Love the 'fireworks'.

Low 40's tonight. Wow! Our low for tonight is expected to be 81. Right now it is 87 and feels like it is 92. I am so ready for cooler temps.

Hope you get your basil harvested.

Have a nice weekend ~ FlowerLady

Thanks FL! Wow to your temperatures of 80's! I'm happy for fall to come frankly. I always need a break from the heat and the growing season. Thanks honey for coming by and for your sweet comments! xo

The 'Fireworks' are very impressive. I like it when you get little unexpected gifts in the garden. While I was out of action recently a borage plant appeared between the cracks in a paved area.
Rain here today, but still hot (for England, lol).

And the fireworks move around, Tracey. I don't think they are where they originally started! Oh, we have borage everywhere! Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. We had beautiful blue skies here with about 78 or so. It is perfect. xo

Thanks Pammy for your kind words! xo

Your Fireworks goldenrod is so wonderful! We have our south and east field covered in the "wild" kind - pretty but yours is fantastic and so much showier.
Yes busy times these days.!

Hi TO, It seems I never have enough time in the garden these days. The goldenrod signals the end of the gardening season here! Hope you are having fun. xo
