Well, I don't think I will win an Oscar, but after almost a year of owning my camera, I discovered that it is fairly easy to make videos. I promise to do a little better job next time! Since the batteries didn't run right out, I'll maybe focus on just one herb in the next opportunity. I thought you would like seeing what is really going on in my herb garden instead of a static photo. I was weeding in the back gardens and really enjoying the quiet (except for the motorcycles) and the birds singing. The temperatures are going to cool off starting Monday. So let me know what you think. Probably using up a lot of photo storage! Talk to you later.

A Video Tour of the Herb Garden, Sort of!

That was super neat! I loved hearing your voice and walking around your herb garden. I'm ready to see more. I'm also wanting to make a video myself, so need to read up on doing it.
It is gray and rainy here with lots of rain to come from Tropical Storm Debby. I want' able to mow this past week because of rain, and by next week when it finally dried out, there's no telling how high the grass will be.
Enjoy your day ~ FlowerLady
What a lovely idea, and thank you for sharing. I loved hearing the birdsong in the background. It looks lovely. I wish my outdoor basil looked like that, instead of half drowned!
Well, it was fun, but listening back to it, I'm thinking it could have been better! Hope you don't get too wet from Debbie! Take good care! xxoo Nancy
I think that's what got me started Tracey. I was sitting and weeding (or maybe just sitting and staring!) and thought it would be good fun for you to hear all of the sounds in the garden and see it as well. Thanks for coming by! xxoo Nancy
I would like to do the same, so glad you took the plunge. You give me hope. Liked the video, it was different than just a photo as you said.
Thanks a lot, Marcy for your encouragement!
I enjoyed your herb garden tour very much. I too, have been making videos with a camera I have owned for 2 years, time to put it to use. I love making the movies, although they take forever to upload!
They do seem to take forever Jeri, but I did enjoy it. Thanks for your encouragement. xxoo Nancy
