Please Dry These on the Dryer!
I can't make this stuff up! Those were the words of The Herbal Husband when we were cleaning the herbal trees in containers the other day. These are kaffir lime leaves. We use them in our wok cooking. Really fragrant and flavorful! Just don't eat them. Too tough and like a bay leaf has a lot of sharp edges. Off to the garden! Talk to you all later.

cool you can add the leaves to cooking nancy! got a pic of this tree to share? got some st johns wort oil made, also comfrey, the raspberries are over, but the tomatoes are coming on:) how are things with you? hugs :)
I will take a photo of the lime when I get a chance. It was down to one leaf and The Herbal Husband brought it back from the dead! I'm pulling weeds and picking raspberries and snagging beetles! Friday is the first of my visits. Master gardeners first and then library garden tour! Our tomatoes have been sprayed with a fungicide because we have had so much cool weather. It was in the low 50's last night! Blight is a big problem when the temps get that low in the summertime. Not a good thing. Hope you are enjoying your day. Thanks for stopping as always Leslie! A big hug for you!
