One of My Favorite Herbal Tools!

If you don't have one of these, you need to get one!  I'm not good with a knife.  This is so easy all you have to do is wash your herbs if you use fresh ones and the little blades chop up the herbs.  It, of course, works well with dried ones also.  Although I do remember the dried herbs fly a little when you use it.  I used this the other day for the rosemary garlic jelly!  It was a lifesaver!  Not a great picture, but I think you get the idea.  The other thing I love about it is that is left or right handed!  What's your favorite tool for herbs?

i guess my favorite herb tool is my scissors! i love scissors and my hubby and i just found a leather case for mine that can either hang off my apron or a belt. i never wash off my herbs unless there is a specific reason too. i might give them a shake or two to dislodge any critters, turn the whole handful upside down to inspect the undersides of the leaves and then just use them. i usually just use my scissors to snip them to size and also after i put bulk herbs in jars of oil etc i just stick the scissors down inside the jar and snip away:) i like your tool though too nancy! thank you so much for sharing:)

this might be a cop-out answer, but I love using my hands whenever possible! Tearing, 'smooshing', squeezing, stripping leaving, peeling bark, finger-grinding... it's cheep, feels great, and smells yummy - the original kitchen witch perfume!
