A Spicy Feast!
In trying to slim down, The Herbal Husband cooked this spicy (not hot) but tasty stew made with chicken thighs, potatoes from our garden, chicken broth (low fat and sodium), a jar of canned tomatoes from our garden, carrots and peas and cumin, turmeric and curry. It was very good. Going to have some leftovers tonight! Yummy! Hope you're staying warm! It's going to be better soon!

That sounds so yummy. I've got chicken legs thawing. I plan to cook them in the crockpot, then take the meat and broth and make a chicken pot pie. I love cumin, I need to remember the combination of cumin, turmeric and curry. That sounds GREAT!
It was warmer here today, what a relief.

I'm going to put out my crockpot and try some meals. The combo of spices was very good. Glad it was warmer for you. I remember spending a January morning in central Florida scraping ice off the windshield of our rental car. I told The Herbal Husband that I could have stayed home and scraped ice off the windshield! January is sometimes not a good time to be in the south! Take care Flower Lady!
OOOOooooo the soup sound heavenly!! I've always gardened on small scale with mostly flowers. 2 years ago I expanded immensely and now have a veggie garden and an herb garden. I'm always looking for new recipes too!
It was very yummy Carol. It doesn't take much to expand quickly, does it? Stay tuned. Will try to give you some new recipes.
