If You're Missing Some Bees, I Have Found Them!
You may need to click on this photo to make it bigger. This is my spearmint in bloom and the bees are enjoying it immensely! This mint is in the ground in the front garden. Probably not the best idea, but the bees love it and that's a good thing. It is so humid outside! Going out to lunch with my friend to Chipotle! Talk to you later!

We have tons of bees around here. Also loads of the yellow butterflies. I have only seen one monarch butterfly though...
We are so hot/humid here it's terrible!
WOW! You got bees for sure..! We don't have many bees at all this year makes me very worried.
Hello dear Nancy,
Wow! Happy mint and happy bees. It looks luxuriant. I love it! Lots of good tea with sprigs of mint, more mint jelly, more goodies.
I've been out of town doing a library presentation and reading. When I returned (HOT here while gone) I found my Nancy wilted. I am hoping she makes it.
Love,
S
I know Peggy! I'm trying to keep The Herbal Husband indoors! He is nuts to be out in this heat! One more day and we may be back to a little lower temperature!
You do have really interesting species, Carol. Forget the bees! Oh, you really should have some. Not too good if you don't!
Sharon, I'm going to have to take custody of Nancy if you don't be careful! Ha! Hopefully you will see how my lemon verbenas are doing in my next post of Herb Companion. A little hint. Maybe next week! xxoo Nancy
Thanks ladies for stopping by!
Our bees have been busy on the catnip this last week. I wanted to cut it back but I feel sorry for them so I will leave it a little longer. That is a nice batch of mint you have growing!
Yes, Carla, like the rest of the front garden, it is a little crazy! Thanks for stopping by!
I have never seen so many blooms on spearmint. It is beautiful. I tell people we would not have great fruits and vegetables to eat if we did not have bees. If you don't swat at them they go on their busy way.
BTW - I love Chipotle - hope you enjoyed it!
Yes, TG I love the bees and they have never bothered me. I liked the food. My friend and I couldn't carry on a conversation until they turned down the music! I will probably try it again some time. Thanks for stopping by TG!
