My favorite garden sculpture is of the Virgin Mary, and she is about 2 and a half feet tall. She is so serene, I love to see her every day, for about ten years now. She might like to meet your Angel Mary.
My favorite statue is my St. Francis. He's heavy cement, old and we paid $10 for him around 30+ years ago.
It is miserable here too and I keep hand watering almost every day, things that are in pots, and use the sprinkler, moving it around to different areas, on my three allowed days to use them. We keep having rain predicted, and thunder rumbles around us, but it keeps around us and we stay dry. Hope we both get some rain soon.
Love and hugs to you both ~ FlowerLady
I have a few garden art pieces but the two favorites are the St Frances statue and a glass sculptural piece my sister created out of vintages dishes and vases. Neither have made it out to the garden this year as I store them in the basement over the winter and I couldn't get to them early on and then my back was out and now it's just laziness. Maybe this weekend I'll get them out.
I am sure that the Virgin Mary gives you peace, Terra! We will have to work on that meeting of the two Marys! xo
Dear FL, the old faithfuls in our gardens. I bet St. Fiacre is 15 or 20 years old. Still going strong. We are supposed to get strong storms this afternoon along with cooler temps. Hope you get rain soon. Thanks for stopping by! xo
You need to decorate your garden, Carol! It will cheer you up! xo
